Has anyone noticed a weird distortion effect when it comes to things that move, and frame drops? It shows the most often in menus. The best way to describe it, is a heat wave. It happened after an nvidia update, but I also am not sure if it was before or after the small vrchat update as well.

Asynchronous projection. It may be annoying but trust me it’s better than the alternative

What’s happening is your fps is so low that the headset is trying to insert its own in-between frames to stop you from getting sick

The login problems have been around for a few weeks now, they changed servers a while back and it’s never really been normal since.

Ah. I tried restarting the game, cancelling the connection to connect manually again (which had to be cancelled as soon as the button appeared), restarting SteamVR but… nope. Can't play.

The world I tried to join had no existing instance by the way, 0 people in both public and private rooms.

And before that I was connected just fine in the base room, it really broke when I attempted to join.

The Vive's lighthouses and the Oculus sensors are both basically the same thing from your end. They are used to track your position.

Both the Vive and the Oculus come with these included. You do not have to buy any yourself.

The Oculus Touch bundle comes with everything you need. The Vive comes with basically everything except headphones, which you need the "deluxe audio strap" for.

Converting to Vive: 400 (Oculus Headset, you already bought it so it should be included in the overall 'cost'), 500 (full vive kit), 300 (vive trackers) that's 1200 USD. Obviously more where you are.

so example the rift cost $350, if i buy it from amazon lets say everything is $500 in total including everything, once the package got here it will be progress by custom worker
once they read where the package come from, they will email me and ask me to pay certain fee for the items when if i buy it from the official store, they wont tell me to pay the fee
