On that topic...
A while back I noticed a friend that had been missing for ages was on the game again, status set to red with the status message mentioning something along the lines of "want to die" or such.
However was in a friends instance, so could still join. A world called "Sad Place" or something similar. I decided to join anyway, wanting to see them again.
The world was a dark room with a sofa, and a TV as the only light source. TV was playing a video with very depressive music.
My friend was just lying on their side on the floor in full body, facing the TV so they didn't notice me entering.

Just for a moment the natural "what if" crossed my mind, and I was rather scared to speak.

Eventually just said, "Hi". And was relieved to see them twitch, and then half lean up to face me.

The fallback system is near unusable for creators

Inability to specify fallback materials, instead having to rely on renaming your shader "transparent" to get it to fallback properly

When a world is uploaded, it's private by default and only accessible by the world creator. To make a world public, it needs to be submitted to this sheet so that the VRChat team can check it for anything rule breaking or any other technical problems, if it meets the requirements, it then gets made public.

If the world gets updated, it needs to be checked again.

Youtube changed their format yesterday. To fix Youtube videos playing in VRChat, you must download the latest youtube-dl.exe from https://yt-dl.org/ . Then Browse Local Files from steam. Scroll to the bottom find VRChat_Data then open that and open StreamingAssets. Put the new youtube-dl.exe into there.

I think it'd depend a lot on the attitudes & expectations of those involved.

While I can only speak for myself, I've consistently been amazed at how genuine the social bonds that I've formed through VR feel.
