Don't think so, but you could make a symlink to a different folder and it would think that other folder is the vrchat folder in pictures

As stated in #announcements , #server-status , and multiple times in this channel, we're experiencing some extended server issues. This may cause "black screens" and the spinning VRChat logo to appear and hang before showing an error message while attempting to connect to VRChat or join a new instance. Additionally, we're aware of the "Authentication Failed" message, which is another symptom of the networking issues.
We're still working on it and hope to have it solved soon. Thanks for your patience.

Well.. during that knuckles times.. us who made maps couldn't actually test our work even then that went on for a long time if thats what your refering too.. but back then it was supposed to be a security issue and so the only way of testing was to first upload the world to the cloud then get in to test it.. unlike a standard compression and load to test straight off.

I do wonder if the server-status checker is relaying information like a bot to twitter.. because at this point its adding insult to injury, the people already know what's going on.. there's nothing you can fix to stop this.. other than your host actually blocking all those active connections.. i'd say the best solution is to take the servers down for half hour.. then put them back up and monitor all that traffic incomming.. because as it stands there's a few thousand people on.. some are using a third party client.. and we all know how all those clients can easily become part of that botnet.

Just ignore the auth failed window and wait for it to close itself. It will automatically try again and you’ll get in the second time. If you manually click “okay” it tends to just fail again.
