I asked about this last night, but figured I'd ask again in case there's someone else who can help me with this. I upgraded my CPU, motherboard, and ram recently, from an fx-6300 to a Ryzen 5 2600. Everything's been running faster but vrchat, which seems like it never goes above 13 fps. I've tried rebooting, reinstalling my video card drivers, making it's priority high in the task manager, and disabled hyperthreading, but none of that's worked.

I'll let you know if CPU/RAM usage is high when I can test it, but when I was checking it in task manager last night it didn't seem to be using too much CPU or ram. Can't remember specific values but it wasn't maxing out or using the majority of either of them

VRchat only uses a single corefor the main work and the second one for audio. Even if your whole CPU usage is maybe at like 20%, it just means that one CPU is maxed out and the others are idling.

On your side, there's little to do to improve the performance.

Considering that all the other games you've tried is okai it rules out any problems with the cpu/gpu
but memory leak can happen within vrchat but for it to be instantly when you log in is weird but most likely it's your ram in this case, all other games works for me but vrchat i have memory leak from time to time when playing for longer peroid of times which is exactly what happens to you
fps caps and lag hits.
