@surreal hull all the maps and user avatars get downloaded to that folder so it loads from your files instead of loading from the cloud, because its quicker. But over time you collect a lot of these files so you have to clear it from time to time

You know I also heard with this recent SteamVR update that the auto Super Sampling tends to go overboard. Try going into your steamvr settings and set super sampling to manual override and set it to 1.0 and see if your performance improves at all

970 should be fine tho, turn down the desktop's window settings to a low rez and graphics setting and you're good (Hold shift while launchign VRC). And yeah, supersamling at 1.0 or less (0.8 is what i use as i dont notice the difference to 1.0)

God, there's this one public The Great Pug world right now where people are just stealing control of your camera perspective the second you join, and activating safemode just leaves your camera stuck in that one place.
