Your GPU will stay where it normally does as usually with power from the PSU. Because its in the long PCI-E 16x slot.

The PCI-E USB 3.0 expansion card, is a much smaller one and is often below the GPU. This one uses the SATA power (same as your harddrives and ssd's). That is all.
