Oculus has the more comfortable controllers and is better if you have little space. Vive is the overall better option though, but the down side is that the controllers suck

i recommend wmr, easy to set up, comfortable, has higher resolution than both the vive and rift. only down side is the tracking. it's not that good

IMO tutorials should be 15 minutes long unless they are properly time stamped. I found a 40 minute tutorial on building a world. It should have been named “designing a world”. There was a 5 minute tutorial on actually getting a working world.

I have an issue with animating my avatar...I want to be able to replace emotes such that I can have a full-body animation, and be able to trigger effects and sounds as well...the trouble is Unity (5.6.3p1) appears to be buggy when doing this, and produces a glitchy muscle-test pose that I seem unable to deal with. Every tutorial I came across did not seem to go for full-body animations with sounds and effects...yet I see these everywhere. Can anyone help me with this?

When I create an animation using Unity's animator window and hit Record, the character falls into the muscle test pose. From there I'm unable to animate the character...rotating the bones appears to work...but the numbers in the Inspector don't seem to work properly, and visually nothing moves when I scrub through the animation. Blendshapes appear to work fine.

Yeah, then add colliders for everything that the player should be colliding with (like the floor and walls), then add some VRChat related things that is used for worlds.
