That's up to the world creator, but by increasing the audio range of the world, everyone else in the room would also be able to talk further.
Your best bet might be to put the music into the world itself.

Unless you mean putting an audio file on the avatar itself (which you generally shouldnt dooo), the audio range for those have been clamped on purpose lately aswell.

I don't understand the issue, the warning is for when you are doing the uploading. Basically don't edit your avatar when its uploading your avatar.

Dont worry about your voice in vr-chat, there has been plenty of people with squeeky voice who has been able to join into conversations, you find a lot more friendly people now that the meme wave has calmed down.

So ive waited awhile after asking in the avatars channel, i gave this model's ears dynamic bones and used force to keep it where i want it instead of it going to a t-pose, but on one side the tips of the ear are sticking straight up and i can't figure out what might be causing it http://prntscr.com/ig8c3b

Put your view to the side of your character, then change the height of that viewpoint to match the height of your eyes, and then put the Z distance to 0.02 (Which will most likely be inside your head, but that is fine)

Okay, so at the descriptor settings on the right, you should see an X-Y-Z position. Change those to 0-<whatever height of your eyes>-0.02

@onyx barn the audio glitch is caused by avatars that have audio effects tied to them. Avoid those if you can and you'll be fine.

There is probably some sort of depndancey in the scene in regards to lighting. Meaning that something probably has to be implemented in the world by the author to make it work. If it isn't there then that may be what's causing the effect. @leaden kiln

I've never seen that shader used though so I can't say for certain. It may also have to do with the bloom effect if that's being used in a world.

Restarting the game doesn't resolve the issue, I can spawn into the hub with a default avatar and still get the glitch every time. I'm used to the glitch now but it's still so damn disorienting to try to find who is talking to me.

@frosty slate The glitch I have is the opposite audio one. Where any direction a sound should be coming from, it will sound like it comes from the opposite direction like front is back, left is right. Started for me yesterday.
