Everyone using the hacks is going to have some sort of philosophical soapbox to describe to themselves why in the end what they are doing is ok. Humans are good at coming up with plausable reasons they are not the badguy, but I really doubt anyone here needs to explain to you why folks on an online game that involves hours of avatar customization get upset when hackers copy the work they have done without permission.

Yeah ofc, I've reported every hacker I've knowingly encountered and identified. But yeah, I believe the VRChat staff don't want hacking discussed on this discord really, got told off for it last night. They're working on it though which is good, nice to get feedback. I remember playing archeage/BDO and you'd never hear back from the staff

the fix for the touchpad clicking issue at 3 o clock is taking the entire thing apart and then just putting a tiny bit of scrap plastic inbetween the rubber and the button. Basically all HTC had to do was have 1mm more of plastic and we wouldn't have this issue

It also just recently got support for SteamVR so that's a plus.

Hey guys just a small PSA people are client hacking as most popular online games often do, a group of these people ask players if they want to die, do not interact with them and leave for a different world immediately as they will disable your player and you would have to reset VRChat to make it playable again. Happened twice to me so far.

You can get around HTC's poor customer service by getting the vive from a reseller like Amazon or a local computer shop, then you can deal with them for returns instead of HTC.
