@vocal shard #avatars-2-general is the best place to ask about this stuff, but select your mesh in the hierachy (not the bones, not the root object, the mesh like 'body' or something), and on the right side the Inspector panel will list the materials. You can adjust things there, such as the tint on the material. It's a quick way to change colors, but possibly lose some details in the texture

@rich ember Proportions. VRChat scales you into the avatar, and the further away from human, the higher, or sometimes lower you go. Try using X-bot from the defaults, that should be near perfect.
