theoretically you could detect avatar parameters with OSC and therefore communicate something from vrchat to the outside world, but that sounds incredibly janky

you can also do the reverse and feed information from the outside world into your parameters, meaning you can do stuff like have a physical settings board which is pretty neat

The problem is you can only use 1 headset and a pair of controllers. Using 2 headsets and 2 pairs of controllers is not possible at the moment.

Due to space calibrator not supporting calibrating 2 spaces at once at the moment

Unless.. you're fine with 2 controllers being rotation only. (Could be thigh trackers)

Will vrchat devs ever allow more parameter space for face tracking? I don’t think they take any processing power and I’m maxed out on all my avatars. Seems reasonable since more face tracking headsets are coming out but idk

Not only does processing power batter but more (synced!) parameters means also more network bandwith used.

There is some cleaver system out there that can combine parameters into a "compressed" animator system that can get you some more mileage out of the existing limits.

Depends on the art style you prefer. Booth tends to have better quality but more blocky(lower topology) and lacking in nicer fbt. Jinxxy has good options but your be looking through lots of slop to find a model you like that's a good quality. Don't purchase any you can't demo in-game is my best advice. Too many models use renders and perfectly posed pictures to make models appear better then the asset your really buying.

Otherwise you'll need all these extra 3rd apps and extra trackers

Which to me, is just a hassle. I'm more of a plug n play type deal.

getting rid of all of these vive trackers and using fluxpose

and getting a quest pro for full face tracking and wireless

powerbanks for the battery life, and vr gloves for perfect hand tracking anywhere

currently working on getting the gloves in partnership with another brand, but the rest is still on my bucket list
