Depends the seat could be locked and you click "unlock" to buy that seat / area OR go to "Search for tickets" and place you code there to unlock your list of seats available

Make the most out of the public transports while visiting Barcelona, metro and buses are really good for that. In Barcelona itself is good to visit the turistic places, eat Paelha if you like sea food, that is pretty much it
