Things to do to keep your face and body clean n soft 🗣️
Wash your face a LOT! 🗣️
I wash my face with cold water at least 10 times a day and use a clean towel that I use alone and for face only, changing the towel 1-2 times a week (don’t use it for hands, keep towel not in the bathroom).
To remove make up: Collistar Struccatore Addolcente Bi-Fase Occhi-Labbra
To go out: Nivea Sunscreen Sensitive
Helpful against cellulite: Collistar Anticellulite Cryo-Gel
(Also, cellulite is totally normal and and it aint UGLY! 🗣️ Very normal, very beautiful so don’t hate them nor yourself (: )
Self-made body scrub: 100% Olive oil mixed with salt. Softly massaging into the skin for few minutes and wash it off. (Especially good for dry legs and feet). It can be used as shaving oil with or without the salt.
REMINDER that these things are helpful to me, since skins etc react differently 💆♂️💧
i thought washing your face is bad?
lol
cause doesnt it ruin ur skin
like 2 times a day is good but isnt 10 too much
Not for me. I have to wash my face 5-6 times anyway for prayer. I mean of course when you have too dry skin you shouldn’t overdo it especially not with hot water
and lowkey have a tick with the feeling or thought that I have dirt on my face the whole time so I just wash it especially on hot days 🦧
Innisfree
yea you don’t wanna wash your face too much esp with product bc you’re washing away the natural oils and drying your skin out 😟
broo yess w channel
I’ve had acne problems since middle school but I changed my whole routine in the beginning of the year and dang my acne scars are almost completely gone. I was using a whole bunch of products but keeping it minimal has worked for me.
I have oily skin & what works for me is:
Mornings; wash face only with water (this alone washes away some of my oilyness) then I put sunbums spf 30 face stick
middle of the day like during my lunch break I wash my face again with water
Nights: (all The Ordinary products) Foaming cleanser, GA, Niacinamide, HA, and Moisturizer w ceramides/ha
when I get breakouts during my monthly curses I just replace the GA w SA. My night routine is done every other day not everyday.
Bruhh I’ve never received compliments about my skin until last month, the first time some stranger complimented about how nice and clear my face was I was legit shocked bc my whole life I’ve dealt w enlarged pores and acne/scars and now I’m getting compliments about my face?!?! crazy 🥹
Face masks
Wash my face with sometimes Garnier face wash (idk what the thing is called) or Nivea face scrub (idk what its called) then i lotion my face with Aveeno i somtimes apply the serum from Olay

@zealous hill
whats the diff between suncreen concealer and sunscreen lotion i buy at target
like the sunscreen part? not different. the only difference is where you’re getting your spf from. but usually concealer doesn’t go on your whole face…
Concealer match your skin tone so it’s also make up to give your skin a perfect complexion look
This my morning skincare routine (dry af skin)
Step 1:-
Wash face with moiz face wash
Step 2:-
Pat dry, don't rub
Step 3:-
Innisfree greed tea seed serum
Step 4:-
Vaseline mixed with vanilla lip Butter
Step 4:-
Mosturizer reccomened by dermatologist so I don't know the exact name
Step 5:-
Innisfree Jeju cherry jelly
Step 6:-
Mamaearth sunscreen SPF 50
Step 7:-
Laneige glowy cherry lip balm
Then do makeup, hair and perfume. It takes 15-20 mins once you get the hang of it
what abt this @zealous hill
so its like makeup sunscreen?
em?
same thing lol. anything over like 35 spf is the same!! i’ll share some more sunscreen tips later 🙂
yea! as long as you have spf on your face doesn’t really matter where it comes from
same thing so why they make higher spfs for to scam ppl for money 😭
sorry i cant english very well.
what do you mean by doesn’t really matter where it comes from ?
I thought only specific concealer sunscreen has your skin tone not just any ordinary sunscreen
also for anyone that needs i screenshotted ems history on recommendations before the topics get deleted in case anyone want to recall their advice and recommendations spoken exactly word by word on skincare
yea scam basically
i paid for spf 70 thinking it would protect me more 💀
i used and yep protected me last weekend fr
i mean, as long as you wear spf everyday it doesnt matter if you get it from sunscreen, moisterizer, concealer, foundation etc
I believe it means you have to reapply it less often the higher the spf
nope
Damn really what is the reapplication time frame then
Or recommended reapplication
For sunscreen
Marketing gimmick apparently lol 😂
i mean it depends on what youre doing. like swimming, even if your sunscreen is waterproof, its gonna come off faster than if youre just sitting outside. same with sweating. if im swimming im reapplying every 2-3ish hours but you could do more or less. up to your best judgement
if im not in the sun, i usually just apply sunscreen once in the morning and go about my day
Makes sense
~ high spf vs low spf ~
"The SPF rating only refers to UVB rays. An SPF 15 sunscreen blocks 93% of UVB radiation, and SPF 30 blocks 97%. After that, the difference in protection is small. SPF 50 blocks 98%, and SPF 100 stops 99% of UVB rays from reaching your skin."
essentially anything more than spf 30 is the same. that extra 1% isnt gonna do much for you lol
Should I be adding Retinoid to my skincare routine and getting a prescription from a dermatologist from the scientific research I’ve gathered they are anti-aging and anti-cancer miracle skin drug which seems too good to be true lol 😂
you should ask your dermatologist
would you guys find it helpful if i put together all the links of products i use/used? lmk 🙂
Micellar water ig…
I have it too
Nah it's not micellar water its like a face scrub thing
Aa ok
Yeah
But what hair products u use?..
Just shampoo my parents don't believe in all this like skin care and hair care type of stuff but I have face scrub
I used to use conditioner but then we ran out and ended up not buying more
I have thick wavy hair and switched to Native shamp/cond, my hair is much healthier not even the beach made my hair frizzy lol but it did take like 2-3 months to see the difference
worth it tho
Then I use SheaMoisture smoothie after my showers. I feel like less products for my skin/hair has worked best for me
i apply aloe vera on my scalps once a week!
it really works well
These aren’t accurate tests though
fair enough but i’ve also tried different sunscreens and centella is the least oily on my oily skin 😵💫
what brand
and i heard 2in1 are terrible
yet i see lots of them lately
This one! it smells fruity/fresh I thought it would smell like coconut lol
It says “curl enhancing” but my gf has straight hair and she loves using it bc it helps moisturize her hair
i've collected the links of all my favorite skincare products that i've personally used onto an amazon storefront! most of them are geared toward oily skin (me lol) but some of the stuff can be used on all skin types!
idk if i can post link here but if you want it dm me!
Sure, you can post it here
here is my skincare amazon storefront!! updated whenever i get a new product hehe 💫🌷☁️
Shop recommended products from em shin on www.amazon.com. Learn more about em shin's favorite products.
literally if you can create a master list of yays and nays(to certain skin types) and ABSOLUTE NAYS(scams /guaranteed toxic ingredients not healthy for anyone/actually terrible for skin)
@zealous hill added you btw tysm
adaplene + clindamycicn
hard to say because everyones skin is different.. i have oily skin so most of my recs are geared towards that. but someone else could have a reaction to something that doesnt bother my skin at all or vice versa. everyones skin care goals can be different as well. for me, since i have oily skin, i want to get rid of the oilyness as much as possible, so most of the products i linked combat the oilyness while still moisturizing your skin. if you have dry skin, you dont want to use products that dry out your skin more (like salicylic acid products). its also a process of trial and error. i had to try many products before i found ones that work for my skin. but those products could work for others. i've said before but the only way to really tell what kind of products you need is to get analyzed by a dermatologist and let them give you a curated list of recommendations
nattora
sleep
i like to think not everyone is in america
IMO, if you're a beginner at the skincare game, the start point that you need is these three: sunscreen, face wash, moisturizer.
Any kind of products is good, just to make sure to make it better, sleep at least 8 hours a day and eat at least one healthy food a day. Walking everyday around the block for 30 minutes everyday is good for your exercise.
I do all those things everyday and my face looks so better in 6 months.
wdym lol
sleep is the best universal skincare
also stay hydrated
oh thought when you said sleep it was like an immediate thing thats why i was saying not everyone in same timezone.
didnt know you meant it as a skincare tip.
but yes i slept alot today and yesterday tthank you
Tears is the best for skin. It soothes my skin
u shud use the seaweed facewash from the body shop with cetaphil moisturizer!
agreed
Be careful of your under eye area. This is very sensitive. Avoid too much exfoliants, essential oils and face wash as it canseverely damage the skin there
ooo
Short and simple, hydration. Drinking water is an easy way to help your skin, excluding skincare products and etc.
anything recommended by the derma cus they know what's good for your skin
I mostly use skincare from clinics
ima boy
So what...
laneige lip sleeping mask is really good
i recommend the round lab dokdo cleanser
Japanese or Korean skin care product
