I'd like to see an implementation of a role color progression that gradually change per rank. To elaborate, a user with a level 5 role obtained from chatting (ex: 1 exp point per 2 minutes?) would change from a certain kind of bright color that overlaps the member role color selected through #roles-backup. I think some or most people used this role feature to have a favorite color display to be displayed when chatting instead of using it to show their favorite idol.
Moreover, the role color progression can be changed every 5 levels towards a new bright color that associates with that rank/number. A final tier can be added that allows the user to choose what kind of color they'd like to be displayed by asking a mod a color id or having some sort of role nickname that is tied to that color (Depending on how you mods will implement this).
Why should this be added?
- It encourages more members to actively chat in this sever
- It helps a member be recognized through an achievement of reaching that level
- Creates more types of colors to appear
- Able to recognize which users are new, recent, current, and seniors.
- Creates motivation to reach a certain role color
- Allow others who want to own a bright role color of their own without paying to own VIP Blinks role color
- Have similar or same color as Mods (Without the shield badge)
- No more reliance of having seasonal role colors like the sports one to have bright various of color to display.
Potential Issues:
- Requires more moderation to overlook who is exploiting the exp cooldown.
- Possible chat traffic
- May be a direct competitor for pink VIP route
What can the role color look like:
level 5 role can be orange
level 10 role can be bright yellow, red, purple, green
level 15 role can be bright blue, magenta, dark blue,
However long the numbers may be or do a 2 to 2 level or 5 to 5 to fit in more potential bright colors
Last tier role can be granted which ever color id chosen or choose any existing role color.
This exp system can be implemented with a point cooldown per 2 minutes so it cannot be spammed over useless repetitive text. In addition, the exp shouldn't be counted over the use of one emote or a sticker itself.
