Introductions should be added so others can get to know other users and become friends! This can also help others to find out more about that they share in common. I hope this gets added!

If i want to know info about someone i'll most likely search for their profile (if theres actually info in their about me). If they put it in introduction channel, it'll be hard for me to scroll thru all these messages. I'm just saying, it's okay for me if this is added

That is true but ig the introduction channel can be for newcomers or something or people who want to be friends with others so they can look through the introduction and find people who might share similar interests :))

Yes we should definitely have introduction channel

There are some concerns with an introduction channel, primarily the encouragement of sharing personal information which is something we want to avoid especially with a large server with many minors.

We will think of more ways to encourage new members to join chat, but without the additional risks and moderation involved.

Mods need to chill a bit ngl, so many public servers have this sort of channel with no problems.
