Born Pink sold over 2,517,206 copies for the month of September according to Circle Chart. It also debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart which is the first album by a KPop female artist to chart at #1. "Shut Down" is serving as the title track. Jimmy Kimmel Live! was BLACKPINK's first performance for "Shut Down" on September 20, 2022. It's the first album by female artist to sell over 1 million copies on the first day on Hanteo (1,011,266 copies).
