On July 29, YG Entertainment confirmed that Blackpink's debut would be on August 8, 2016.
Each member was announced in a different way for 4 weeks (Jennie on June 1st, Lisa on June 8th, Jisoo June 15th and Rosé June 22nd). As trainees, they appeared in other YG artists M/V and songs.
Before their debut, the girls were already the queens of K-Pop.
