Community Rules

Please read and follow the following rules before talking in the server. We want to provide a space where everyone can enjoy the server and for that we need your help as well!

Server Rules
  1. Be respectful.
  • Harassment, slurs, raiding, violent speech, ganging up on or bashing of other anyone is not tolerated, including towards artists, groups, or individuals not in the server.
  • Doxing and otherwise threatening behavior will result in an instant ban.
  • Another user being disrespectful also does not excuse the same behavior as a response.
  • We are intolerant of intolerance - support of organizations, people, and/or governments that are discriminatory towards social or ethnic groups is not allowed.
  • No gatekeeping, be inclusive and supportive.
  • Respect personal choices regarding artist support. No "education" attempts on others or idols. Know that your beliefs are not the same as others, and this is not an appropriate place to do things like hold idols "accountable" for their actions.
  1. Do not share NSFW or disturbing content.
  • No NSFW media, sexual or inappropriate comments aimed at server members, groups and idols.
  • No NSFW nicknames, usernames, and avatars.
  • No disturbing content. This means content that could potentially trigger distress or discomfort to other community members, such as creepy images/stickers/emojis, gifs intended to scare others, etc.
  1. Do not send disruptive content or spam.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, interruption of chat flow using emojis, gifs, stickers, ascii characters, copypastas, pasted or extended lyrics, photos, excessive use of caps lock, excessive spoilers not used for their intended purpose.
  • No low-quality or irrelevant content. Keep images and media relevant to conversations. No random memes or gifs that do not add to conversations. No shitposting.
  • No disruptive nicknames or usernames, such as excessive emojis or exploiting special characters.
  1. Avoid sensitive topics.
  • This is not a suitable or safe place to discuss sensitive topics that may be triggering (self harm, child or animal abuse, etc.).
  • If you are going through a difficult situation, please reference the next embed below.
  1. Do not advertise or promote content.
  • Server invites, requesting users to join your server, subscribe to your YouTube, etc. are not allowed.
  • Do not share referral links to external services or try to get people to download apps, e.g. Temu, Shein, WeBull, etc.
  • DM advertisements are an instant ban.
  • It is allowed to provide a server link for another member if they request for an invite (e.g. someone looking for the Red Velvet server).
  1. Keep chat in English.

Keep all extended conversations and discussions in English, as we are not able to effectively enforce rules in other languages. Please check #faq for more information.

  1. Do not share personal info.

Do not share personal photos, photos of yourself, your private social media or any other personally identifiable info that may be used in harmful ways.

  1. Do not discuss muted or banned members.

If a user has been muted or banned, do not ask for the individual's whereabouts or attempt to speak on their behalf. DM @simple isle for any inquiries related to moderator actions.

  1. Do not send fanfics, e-date or roleplay.

This includes flirting with other members. Keep conversations normal.

  1. Do not backseat moderate.

If you are not a moderator or server staff please do not enforce the rules in our place. If you encounter rule breaking ping Mods or report to @simple isle.

  1. Do not beg.

Do not ask others to buy you things, e.g. Discord Nitro. This includes DMing server members.

If you are going through something difficult, please reach out to a family member, friend, or trusted adult. This Discord server is not a suitable or safe place to discuss sensitive topics and we are not qualified or capable of assisting.

Discord Rules

As expected, violations of the Discord Terms of Service will be met with prompt punishments. This includes, but is not limited to:
• You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country)
• You agree not to upload, transmit, or distribute any information that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other right of any party (including rights of privacy or publicity).

⚠️ Rule violations will either result in a 24, 48 & 72 hour mute or a ban depending on severity. Any further rule breaking after a mute will result in a ban.

As always we do urge everyone to report rule breaking to a mod, by DMing @simple isle or contacting a moderator directly. Please also keep pinging all mods at once (@MOD) to only very urgent matters such as raids or NSFW material.
