Ok Picture this; you'd got yourself a nice little house. All you have to do is place the last table and it will look perfect.

But disaster strikes, you've placed it too far to the right, the feng shui is completely ruined. Your only options now are too either break the table or forever live with this lack of symmetry.

Well no more, I purpose that objects have an extra option to be "grabbed" and for them to be dragged behind the player (Or pushed if you have it in front and walk into it) for easier movement of objects. This will save players seconds of time.

on a more serious note, the option to grab an object and push/pull it without needing to shove it in your inventory could be very helpful and give players an extra layer of use to their surroundings. especially in NPCs buildings with lots of objects.

You can pull a table to block a door or push a bookshelf to shutout a window. Forming a barricade with miscellaneous objects.

Dragging more interacted with items like explosive barrels and fridges to more suitable locations. Heck wrester throw would be soft buffed that way.

This could also work with bodies. Steal that corpse for the fridge or kidnap a knocked out victim.

NPCs could also push things out of the way but as a last resorts if they get stuck or you blocked a doorway.

Of course not every object can be grabbed. Heavier things like metal and huge objects (IE safes, fridges, TVs) are heavy and take longer to move, via slowing you down. And some might not be able to be moved at all.

Maybe some objects are locked in place by screws. And you'd need like a screwdriver to unstuck it. As you can lock objects as well.

Of course NPCs will react to you moving objects that aren't yours. First being annoyed then hostiles. Cops will also react to this.

Dragging objects makes noise so be wary of that.
