What would happen to the city name if the faction control changed? The city name would change? Unlikely, but it’s an interesting idea, so i won’t shoot it down. I like the perspective you’re thinking in.
I feel like if factions were controlling certain areas, they could have some sort of transparent colored box or circle that would correspond to each area and the faction that owned that particular part of land.
