1. If you become mayor of a city or town, you would be able to secede from the country. 2. Drive support for secession through speeches and propaganda. Failure to do so would result in a negative outcome. (This would be easier if a city or town has been neglected by the president, or if you became mayor by overthrowing the local government with a revolution.) 3. Build military bases to expand the military. (This would be done through the zoom out and build feature that Matt mentioned.) 4. Convince other mayors to join you; this can be done with propaganda, talking to mayors, or, my preferred method, with threats and violence. (This would be easier if a city or town has been neglected by the president.) 5. The military would invade your rebel country, boots on the ground, Navy if it's close to the water, Air Force, drone strikes, or nukes if the president is about to lose. (Recommended that you attack missile launch facilities early on; this can be done with your military during the war or by yourself.) 6. Send in your own military to capture other cities and towns. (You can also use drone strikes; the President's Palace could be destroyed with a drone strike, but the air defenses would have to be taken out first. You can also nuke other cities, even the palace, but a missile launch facility would be extremely expensive.) 7. Goal: Capture the President’s Palace, or force him/her to surrender, or blow up the palace with a drone strike, or nuke it. (It would be rebuilt, relocated entirely if nuked, as a very large area around it would become inhabitable for a period of time.) Most other win methods would become impossible as the palace would be on lockdown. (When you become president, even if you don't use your military to capture the palace or force the president to surrender, your government will replace the old one.)

I like the detail and thought into this. I don't have a vote, as I don't know how the presidency system is going to work as it is. I would like some customizability or future addons, which im sure will happen after some time after release. Great detail though. 💯

What gorg said, I like the idea but it's a little bit to complex. A simplified version where several towns just declare independence would be interesting though.
