The doors are heavy-duty and often locked.

Containers can be carried by semi trucks, cargo ships, trains, etc.

They are occasionally habitations of the poor. Rural cannibals, dockside thieves, trainyard hobos, Favela Dwellas

the story sucks ass tbh, but the design is kinda cool

I like when games introduce futuristic elements into old cities, so it looks like the technology is like some plague overtaking the city, that looks cool
