Cannibals aren't just mere brutes. They are brutes with a passion for cooking.
The gist is to allow cannibals to turn corpses into more civilized meals and maybe even get some profits!
How should we get meat?
- KILL!, though having every other faction as your enemy may not be sustainable...
- Despite the above, scavenging fields of recent battles for corpses should be way less outrageous
- Rob graveyards and morgues; easier, but don't moan about the quality
- Or just try negotiating w/ the police or grave keepers and maybe they will let you have a nice, fresh body.
How to cook? - It should be rather simple, be a cannibal, take a body to the kitchen, interact with chopping board/oven etc. and get to work.
- Your skills are limited at first, but you can expand your skills in making meals (perfect idea for a cannibal only skill tree?)
- If you want you can also take a body to a better chef than you and (for a humble payment) they will use their skills and satiate your appetite.
Profits?
- Compared to the classic Cannibalize ability, meals would be food items - time saving
- More health than by cannibalizing bodies (even if only after unlocking a proper trait or recipes)
- Additional status effects? - high tier meals (famous ribs?) could grant you e.g. Strength for some time.
- Business opportunity? - Imagine if cannibals could set up grill bars/diners where they would serve their products (w/o disclosing the secrets, of course).
- Too illegal? Be real, if the city gets its share then everything can pass.
Potential recipes?
- Minced Man (Cannibal friendly equivalent of Fud)
- Famous Ribs (Top tier)
- Buttock Ham (Middle tier)
- Visceral Stew (Middle/High Tier)
Etc. - Potential full "Cookbook" would be very vast.
