Rather than just completing the game once you become President, I think there should be a (n optional) post-game where the Resistance turns against you - after all, what's a Resistance with no-one to resist?

This means you have to stay on top of the Resistance's attempts to raise an army against you. Hire Supergoons, Supercops and other NPCs and place them around your presidential tower in preparation for fighting off tower defense-style waves of enemies, or track down the Resistance's outposts to pre-empt their attacks and guarantee safety... for like, a week.
