Remember the XP bonuses from the original (e.g. Wanton Destruction)?

I think such bonuses could come back - but in a slightly modified version.

Apart from being XP bonuses, reaching certain milestones could also give us some other advantages (ones too specific to be traits), e.g. [the values in brackets are only examples]:

  1. Rejuvenation:
  • Lvl 1 - Heal 100 HP total (250 XP)
  • Lvl 2 - Heal 250 HP total (1000 XP)
  • Lvl 3 - Heal 500 HP total (2000 XP + 20% discount on food items)
  1. Junkyard Keeper
  • Lvl 1 - Wreck* 5 cars (300 XP)
  • Lvl 2 - Wreck 10 cars (1000 XP)
  • Lvl 3 - Wreck 25 cars (1750 XP + 15% discount at car workshops)

(*) Wrecking = damaging so much that they won't start up (or even blow up)

Worth note:
- The milestones would be individual (that is, they need to be unlocked again) for each run
- (Optional) The milestones could be hidden (at least until unlocked for the 1st time - nothing wrong in some secrecy, is there?)

bit weird these are all shop discounts

like i think a "fame" system where your public feats change how people see you would be better, for example blowing enough things up makes bomb crates be dropped off at shady places and stuff like that
