A while ago I bought an animation asset bundle and im trying to use it , the problem is that in both ue4 and 5 i get this message "Could not find the skeleton for "Name of the pack" Would you like to choose a new one ? When i choose the new skeleton ( i tried both the ue4 and ue5 mannequin ) the animation doesnt work i just see the mesh in t pose , ive tried to replace every skeletal mesh with the ue4 default but doent work , I also tried checking the file paths and they are correct , i honestly dont know what to do , i dont want to pay 80 bucks for the new version of the asset

When you are importing it then you have to choose the skeleton there
Its a .uasset Animations , I copied the folders into the project itself
Otherwise migrate it into your current project
I cant migrate it , theres no original project where it works
I used it on ue4 and dont know what changed that now doesnt detect it
Its like the skeletal mesh was emty
all the joints are named but the dont show on the viewport
This should probably be in #animation or #ue5-general
Then choose the skeleton bro and i wanna know is the skeleton is showing up or not and if not then import the ue4 mannequin skeleton from fab

Choose their and if your project shows up then select it and import
Does not show , its up to 4.9 and mine its on 5.7
Yet another thing you can do is import ue5 first person project files using
By right clicking and there is an option of
Add quixel or feature content
Select this option
And select and third or first person project
It will import in current one
And then choose the skeleton
using the mobile mannequin doesnt work either

the animations dont have a skeletal mesh assigned to them , so i cant retarget

Regenerate Skeleton: If no skeleton exists, you can right-click the Skeletal Mesh in the Content Browser and select Create -> Skeleton. This generates a new skeleton asset based on the mesh's current bone hierarchy.

Also, if you want to change skeleton just retarget skeleton
