#Analytics Tracking

What did you find dodgy about their docs?
GameAnalytics aside and more analytics in general - for multiplayer games I've seen both.
There are certain titles were they care more about what individual users do (e.g.: how often they are online, for how long, etc) and therefore they track things client side.
But I've also seen projects were they care more about what they achieve as a team (level progression, timings)
So I would really treat it as a case-by-case basis. Also you can do both! You can track some events like login, button clicks client-side and more gameplay things server-side
