Went with a workaround with separate gamepad inputs. Would still like to know what the "correct" way is to deal with this, if anyone knows 🙂
Did you have a look at the EnhancedInput debugging to see if the key is properly assigned there too and what happens if you press it?
showdebug enhancedinput should help.
I did and the inputs never fired once they were changed from kmb to gamepad or vice versa 🤷♂️
