Have a bunch of vehicles set up but no functionality? Perhaps vehicles that have different parent classes but are too complex to reparent? Fret not, Simple Vehicle Functionality is here to help with that! It's packed with loads of features that can be set up in less than 5 minutes. Just $13.99 dollars for a personal license.

Note: Currently supports 5.5+ only but 5.0+ is in development.

I'll give some feedback here because of the discussion in #fab. Context: I make professional driving simulator for a living, and own a lot of driving related products from Fab.

I think this product is in a very tight place. It's squeezed between

  • Free Epic content (vehicle template, City sample, I think Hillside also has vehicles?), which obviously has less features, but is also free, Epic-certified, and the most obvious starting point for anyone looking into vehicles
  • More advanced/complete vehicle packs (lyoshko and Digital Dive come to mind), which are more expensive, but come with all assets to a have unique vehicle ready to drive out of the box

So your target demographic seems pretty small; they need to

  • Make their own assets (vehicles, sounds)
  • Want some very basic driving features, slightly more than the template, but not much more advanced either
  • Not have anyone able to do that internally

Without changing the product in itself, I think you could add some things that could help

  • Make a tutorial video showing how easy it was to add all of the product's feature to the vehicle you show in your demo
    • People love video tutorial, and it'll give more insight as to the work required to use your product
  • Make a showcase video highlighting in more details each feature (the current video is very raw)
    • I know I like DerSky videos, even for boring product the videos are really appealing. He even made a parody of that.

And then you can cut individual shots of those videos, and pour them weekly over your socials, just to keep the activity alive (but don't go too hard spamming people).

Beyond that, I think as a creator, selling a single product is harder. With more, you can create a community (Discord), cross-link them, buyers are more trustful of an active creator, etc.
