sorry I still don't quite get it, re-path is triggered when target character moves, why can't you recalculate the offset points in that new re-path event?
Because there's absolutely nothing in the engine out of the box that allows you to change the goal location without stopping the current movement request and starting a new one. That's only supported when you move to an actor
The path event for goal actor moved only works if the move request is to an actor
