This material is the same, but when dragged in on the imported object (the desk) it looks different, than the sphere that was created in UE5

that has to do with the UV scale of the object, you can adjust that in ur the program used to create the assets, or change the scale in UE's modeling tools.
you could also make the materials world aligned which would make them scale and align based on world coords rather than the objects uv's or you can change the texture scale in the material so you can change it to the desired size for each material instance.
are you decent at architectural stuff?
like I said, will to pay to get in a call with someone for an hour, that can answer some questions

i have no real experience with archviz. and definitely not qualified enough to be asking money for my knowledge hehe. i do this as a hobby in my free time for fun.
