Weird artifacts when pausing game when game starts

I get these weird artifacts when my game starts, pausing it allows me to take a screenshot as they remain like this until the game resumes and 2-3 seconds later they are back to normal, any idea why?

Try disabling anti aliasing. If it makes a difference, at least you'll have a clue to follow.
