This is our very first game we attempt at making and it's been an amazing learning experience so far!
We released our announcement trailer today and the game will be finished and launched in the next months so technically it's still a work in progress 🙂 .

We sincerely hope you like it and are looking forward to get your feedback!

Thanks in advance

Hey hi there dude thank you!
I've been a 3d generalist for around 15 years so at least on the graphic side we had an advantage, my associate had 2d and videomaking background. I also did another project some years ago where i started learning programming through BP, but i can say I actually started programming for real for this one. It took us 2 years to pretty much almost finish it considering also the studying process and all the development related to building our world building tools and stuff like that.
It is feasible but it gets easier if you have some overview knowledge on what needs to be done, and still it is tricky the majority of the times expecially if you're self taught like we are.
I totally encourage you in starting from something simple, generally whatever you think it might take you to get something done, you kinda want to multiply it several times to get a rough idea on how long it will take for real.
UE marketplace has a lot to offer in terms of content you can use, even tho sometimes it ends up to be challenging also just getting the stuff to work together properly.
We did resort to getting some assets from the marketplace and customize them to have them fit the look we were seeking but i would say 80% of the product is made from scratch and the 20% has been customized.
