#Can we have a channel for the brand new Motion Graphics Mode in 5.4?

I fully support this! And not just because I made some of it.
Im support it too
Wait wait wait - so we can blame you for some stuff now?
...maybe? 😦
For me, the first thing I am gonna do is try it out for 30mins, then use the widget inspector for the next 2 hours, to find out how the tools were made 😄
Let’s do it!
When 5.4 is officially released we will consider additional channels that maybe required to support any larger systems that are introduced if the discussion on those systems is sufficiently frequent.
UE 5.4 is officially released now. So my vote for this suggestion 🫰
i do not support it due to the fact that this relates to animation and breaking down the server into further subservers will just decrease the chances of anyone ever seeing your query
Let's see how many people actually discuss this first before we add a dead channel.
I'm in support for a Motion Design channel. As a long time veteran of c4d, ae, and other motion design industry tools, it is nice to have a growing set of tools within engine to use.
Not only is MD a mode for Unreal, it's also it's own industry with dedicated practices and methodology.
If there are a couple of channels that have a smaller amount of users and they share a domain (e.g. cinematics and sequencer), I would merge them toghether. If it lowers the amount of channels and regroups people so they are not less than 10 people per channel, it could help out with low activity on some channels and allow for adding new ones 🙂
It would change naming on some of the channels so they are not feature based, but domain based. Lumen might need to merge into Lighting channel and such, especially as they become more production ready and easier to use.
This could absolutely use it's own channel imo
@sage pagoda Thank you for the suggestion. This channel has now been added. #motion-design
