One or both of these channels should be considered for archiving. Neither really have the traffic to warrant a full channel and more of the posts that do make it there get redirected to another channel because the topic names are a little confusing. People tend to post system design questions instead of the expected topic, but even on-topic posts could be handled elsewhere.
If archiving both is too drastic, at least consider archiving one. The topics are redundant and split the conversation when there's so little traffic in the two channels as it is.

Yeah, the channels came into live when Lyra released iirc.
It has shown by now that most Lyra talk died down or moved to other servers and the names of those plugins are really tricky for channel names.
The names are definitely tricky. I'm a big fan of the system and could easily imagine good conversation for a dedicated channel similar to the GAS, enhanced input or mass channels. They're just not happening yet. The redundancy doesn't help. A good pinned comment could also help if a channel stays (or a new one is created with a better name).
At that point I would just not have the channels at all and have those questions in other more generic channels. We ultimately made the channels with the hope it would grow, but might as well admit they aren't used enough and close them again.
Will discuss internally.
I definitely appreciate the channels, as there are conversations I definitely wouldn't have seen or been able to help with if they'd been in the higher traffic channels. but I can understand if they're not pulling enough traffic to be worth whatever overhead from them being their own channels (not necessarily technical, but also cognitive).
Well we've recently enabled Threads in a bunch of channels.
So that should theoretically happen less often.
Fully agree they should either be one or none I could see a benefit to keeping one but I'm not a major user of the channels
