im trying to make a substrate blend shader for a chara im doing, and i though i would document the process here. Its my first time working with substrate shader, or any complex shaders within unreal... so wish me luck! and if you got any advice or opinion, feel free to share

if youre interested in the rest of the chara, here is the process on artstation https://www.artstation.com/challenges/neo-tokyo/categories/183/submissions/82768

this is my shader for now, i gotta fix the sss content, set up a texture for the blend, (and hopefully not change it). the top substrate shader is good (i think), the bottom one is the glass/rubber/plastic? mat.
the ideal thing would be to have the blend be world positioned
but i dunno how to do that 0,-,0
so imma do it the hard way
ok now i got another problem... these are suposed to be the same mats, but they dont look the same... i needed to split it cause i had metal on the top and i read somewhere there couldnt be glass and metal
the roughness isnt working...
why
Roughness for the metal parts? Or the glass blend?
