#new channels for each major ue version?

why not just discuss it in the dedicated engine channels. New users already get confused at the number of channels and I can only imagine the confusion and crossposting if someone has a ue5 question and has 5 applicable channels to post it in.
Surely the majority of people talking in #ue4-general are using 4.27? Or similar versions.
Ohhh I didn’t see one for ue5 and ue4 general that’s prob good enough and good point on potentially confusing new people
Yeah as if the confusion wasn't enough, discord's channel list customization means a lot of people are missing very useful channels like the general channels :P
Is there a channel for major/ongoing bugs tho?
not really. people just complain in #ue5-general :P
no tracker, since we aren't an official server
Don’t even see a tracker on official unreal forums, wish there was like a blue post tracker as they did for WoW
https://issues.unrealengine.com/
the official issues tracker is hosted separately
you can also probably check the GitHub Issues
We are not going to add a channel for every engine version. As its been stated by others, that would be extremely confusing.
