I'm not even sure if there is a right place to ask for help in this server, I've been using #ue5-general for that. But since it's not a forum channel, I worry about my requests for help being buried! A forum channel will easily group help requests into their own discussion threads making it easy for someone to post a new issue, search for people to help or search past posts to see if someone else got help. You can have tags for all sorts of things from beginner help and blueprints to version control help. Thanks for hearing me out, I believe this would be really helpful!!
#Forum channel for help requests

You ask for help in any of the relevant channels. If you need blueprint help, ask in #blueprint. If you need source control, #source-control.
Right, but I'm afraid that there will be too many conversations going on and my request for help will get buried and ignored. This has happened to me once in this server (granted I have not been in here very long or asking for help very much). Forum channels will group help requests into their own discussion threads, making it much easier to keep up with discussions about same topics.
This suggestion has been suggested and discussed many times, and has been rejected.
Currently the issue is a lot of the regulars that answer questions, do not like the idea of such a system, and no new ideas have been bounced around for implementation. So it's in limbo
