Hey,
Thank you for the comment ๐
That's a great idea, i'll be including a speed running stage.
The idea i have in my mind will be a mix of fluid combat with a movement system like this.
@dry elm did u make the animation ur self?
Looks awesome. How long did it take to make
That looks great!
That's an interesting and great idea, especially with these movements. It's really cool that you're incorporating a speed running stage!
Well done, seems fluid, snappy and satisfying ๐ช
Researched movement systems for the past few days then spent all of today incorporating what i learnt and put it together
Thank you all for the lovely messages ๐ , I can't wait to work on it more and show it
you can buy all these animations on the ue marketplace
ok
and do u know how can i pause the animation and then resume it when key pressesd again and i want the animation to resume from where it left
what would this be for?
as for the wall running here is the pack he has used https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/product/dynamic-wall-run
it comes with the full working system plus animations
Hello, apologise for the delayed response - as the gentlemen stated these animations are a mix of animations from the market place.
The wall run was tweaked to fit in with the rest of the animations. Hope that answers your questions ๐
This is still very much in progress so what you see is literally just a days of effort (minus the research part). Was looking at movement systems like genshin and BOTW and their state transitions. More like a fast paced version of those movement systems with fluid movement mechanic.
i watched a ton of videos, one which i found quite useful was this:

In this video we'll be taking a look at what are we going to be doing in this tutorial series.
We'll be trying to replicate Genshin Impact movement, including gliding and swimming.
To do that, we'll be using "Cinemachine", the "New Input System", the "Animator", "Physics-Based Movement", the "Floating Capsule" technique and "State Machines".
...
Mabye put a little higher the "Air control"?
Disn't think of that... that's some good advise. Thanks aha
