I ran into weird issues with scaling squashing and all sorts of messed up with the SKM skeletal mesh when I export a FBX from unreal, such as from a marketplace asset into Blender. Then when I tried to bring it back into Unreal it was all kinds of messed up. It was way off on scale and I couldn't figure out the right steps to fix the scale.

So that I won't ever forget and hopefully help others. Here is a video showing the problem and how to fix it and improve your iteration times with skeletal rigs and their meshes.

I use Send2UE plugin and nothing else.
For any more advanced rig manipulation please see other plugins that exist.

I will export from Unreal 5.2 into a FBX 2013 file
Import the file into Blender 3.6
Then immediately turn around and try to re-export back into Blender 3.6.
