Astrogene had two primary objectives: to create an immersive Platformer game with a rich storytelling experience and to push the boundaries of technical innovation by implementing a solid workflow typically seen in AAA industry projects.
First, I wanted to craft a game that connects with players on a deeper level. Drawing inspiration from the history and elements of our region, I infused the story with a local vibe while incorporating casual sci-fi elements to create a unique and engaging narrative. Additionally, I aimed to explore the complex relationship between humans and AI technology, reflecting the current state of our world where technology has become an integral part of our daily lives.
On the technical front, I set out to innovate and create a solid workflow that would serve as a foundation for our game. I crafted each asset and game mechanic from scratch, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail. By adopting industry-standard workflows, I aimed to deliver a polished and seamless gaming experience.
