Working on a full length movie, which I have calculated will be around 2 hours long finished, current at 40 minutes edited. However, I am using Unreal Engine to develop the story out and make it more engaging. Hope you enjoy the develops as they arrive 🙂

First frame of the movie, introducing the main character

Started working on a new scene today...Only a basic template at the moment, will add full vegetation and actual volumetric fog rather than the exponential later on 🙂

Everything was created in unreal engine

Slowly getting there, 8 hours of work later and the environment is starting to take form

Optimization is going to be a big part of this environment though as I need to render it for the movie….which I do not want to take 15 weeks

Thus the fog, as it means I do not need to add foliage to the whole region, only where my character will move/camera will point. The fog help hides this lack of foliage while also adding atmosphere, and mystery, which is essential in the story. Especially considering the land is quite flat (due to the environment I am building)
