A Remake of Iudex Gundyr's arena from Dark souls 3, this part of the game really spoke to me as it was the boss room of the first souls boss i fought, and i wanted to remake it in unreal as practice.
I modeled, textured and did the lighting in the level, i tried to keep it as close to the source image as possible, with the final result being mostly the same with only a few differences. The level is optimized for gameplay and runs at a smooth frame rate even in game.
i used 3DS Max, Zbrush, the substance suite, megascans library and mixer to craft the environment, i placed high emphasis on asset modularity and re-usability, as i noticed fromsoft does the same with a lot of their assets.
