Howdy, I am sharing a little side project I am working on. I have been learning UE for about 13 months.

Overview: You have to be stealthy like a modern day ninja. 🥷🏼 A single player storyline (linear critical path with alternate routes to minor objectives) with the main emphasis on stealth. Each mission is a level that is self contained with a beginning, middle and extraction point and all are part of the overall main plot. You are safe in the dark as long as you do not make much noise. You will have access to spy gadgets to aide in your mission.

  • Is this interesting? What would make it more interesting?
  • Does the climbing seem like to much work for the player?
  • Is the minor goal of getting to the 3rd story doorway unclear?

  • There is a longlist of mechanics ideas for this and only a few have been successfully implemented with lots of bugs and placeholders. What do you think would be cool?

Currently I am focused on creating an opening level and a lot of time is being spent on making that environment. Ideas are welcome. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I can package a playable demo for Windows if you are willing to provide insightful feedback.
