Hey guys, so today I made up this quick little prototype game that I find to be pretty fun. Basically your running on a globe (tho rlly the globe is still and your just rotating around it), and you can turn left or right using mouse X input. The goal is to avoid this pillars that randomly spawn on the globe where the camera isnt looking, and despite not having a game over screen, its pretty fun. However, this game lacks a lot in looks, and I'm wondering where I should take the theme. Right now I'm using an orthographic camera and some unlit materials, but that won't cut it. If anyone has any idea's for a theme, please do feel free to share. Also, I'm calling it 'Globetrotter' for now.

Hey, interesting concept, I love little skillgames like this.
Since you asked for feedback:
Maybe put a gridtexture on the globe to give the player more visual orientation. IMO it could confuse the player since it looks like the pillars are moving around on a non-moving globe.
Also the globe could be bigger, maybe not even fitting whole on screen. Seems a bit tricky, perhaps this could be the final stage so the globe gets smaller and harder to navigate while progressing. ✌🏻

if anyone cares, ive created a little beta demo (pasted message):

Hey guys, so I've been developing a little game for a bit that im calling 'Globetrotter', with the goal of releasing it to the google play store for mobile. I'm looking to see if anyone would be interested in a beta test, just looking for opinions on what I could do better on (constructive criticism wanted!). I have a demo for both windows and android, you can play stages 1-4. I would prefer testing on android, as that is the target platform and things will likely look and feel better that way (input is a bit wonky on desktop as u can only drag the mouse to the edge of the window). Windows is easy, just download the file and run the executable. Android is a bit more difficult and theres 2 ways to do it (that I know of), you can either grab the apk file and bring it to your android device and run it (im pretty sure this is how it works, tho i havent tested this), or you can connect your phone to ur pc as detailed in the article below, and run the 'Install_Globetrotter-arm64' file. Gameplay is simple, just drag left or right to turn the vehicle. Thank you in advance to anyone and everyone who decides to beta test, also feel free to share this with anyone else you think would be interested in it, looking for as much input as possible!

First follow this article to set up your device: https://docs.unrealengine.com/4.27/en-US/SharingAndReleasing/Mobile/Android/SettingAndroidDeviceDevelopment/
Then follow this to deploy the package. (Follow Step 2: Deploying A Packaged Project to Device): https://docs.unrealengine.com/4.27/en-US/SharingAndReleasing/Mobile/Android/PackagingAndroidProject/
I included the windows package because I realize its a bit more difficult to test the android version.
