Maybe we could have a forum channel that only mods can post in for putting useful links in.
This would be pretty much a replacement/mirror of Pins but the mods would have more control over order and presentation.

I like this idea, could be a resource channel or something and have posts in it for different topics with resources, like cpp, animation, rendering, etc...

To clarify, here are the reasons for this proposal (not all equally important):
- This channel would be more visible in the UI than the Pin button
- There isn't a limited number to the "pinned" posts with this method
- Mods have more control over presentation
- Users could link to the "pinned" post/thread

A great use for forums imo. Have it at the top of the server so it's visible.
Could also put some common issues in there and such, as people don't really seem to know about the faq command

FAQ command?? Seems awkward as a command. I'd expect an FAQ to be on a page somewhere.. then users can link to it when questions on the FAQ are asked. I like this idea
