As a heads up - I had to go to "Browse Channels" at the top of the server and enable the new community channels. Otherwise, I couldn't see them.

The links work fine in the announcement post even if you've hidden a bunch of sections - they open in a new "suggested channels" section at the top until you close them.

Ah yes, the suggested channels section. I've seen that pop up when I unfollow channels. Not clear exactly what criteria are required to make it show up again.

as far as I can tell, the only thing that uses "suggested channels" is when you open a link to a channel you have hidden. Or maybe if someone pings you from a hidden channel.

One has to select this option to make the Community Creations category appear.
Checking this will also hide the 'Favorites' category and the Favorite feature, so the process of favoriting each channel to make it appear permanently (but in the favorites category) is a little involved.

You can also select them from the channel directory as I pointed out in #announcements
The Show All Channels option is mostly used for server staff to reorder the channel list. It’s nice. Now we can’t accidentally trigger the drag-and-drop for moving channels around.

Very few people looked at the channel, and it was only used by a small group of streamers. It wasn't serving its purpose.
