#Incentivize helpers with bot reaction XP

We have so much help here and I always want to give thanks beyond just saying thank you. Bot reaction XP would be a method for establishing credibility AND some form of veterancy for long standing helpful members for answering questions. Also it would encourage those that do start helping with any specific issue to dig in when it gets hard and learn to get that XP.
Here is the bot I have found
https://top.gg/bot/534589798267224065
but I am sure there are more out there that do what I'm asking.
This bot allows members to give XP to helping members through upvotes or reactions. From what I understand, you can choose the frequency this is granted and the amount of xp granted.

While on the surface these types of systems appear to be advantageous. However we have debated them in the past and came to the conclusion that they only serve to foster an environment of elitism.

They do not encourage users to provide quality help, only help enough to farm xp.

We want to encourage an environment of professionalism as much as possible so that people get as good quality help as the community can manage.

As it stands right now, everyone is on the same level. People who want to be helpful will be helpful as there is no alternative motive like xp.

TLDR: We wont be adding any form of Karma/XP in the near future.

If a high level member was helping me, I'd trust that there's a high chance that they know what they're talking about. Elitism could be an issue if it granted power or isolated groups of people from the rest, but this doesn't do that. This encourages activity and interaction if anything.

The upvotes or reactions would only be granted unless other users were satisfied with the help, so farming xp with low quality help isn't likely, because it would have to be earned. Even if that were to happen, that's such a short timer mentality and they'd stay low level. There's no incentive for earning levels here, no unlocks, no reason for someone to shorthand someone else over it. People like mippy and Mike just get an accumulated number for their time in recognition for their help over the years. And all the users passing through have another way to show gratitude, and maybe get inspired from it to stick around.
Leveling and xp are common features that are proven to incentivize participation and character development. Seems like a great fit.

I've also been in servers where it's not a bot that gives xp based on talking or anything but based on "thanks" so it would scan messages for example if I said thanks devilsd it would give you xp or if you just say thank you it applies it to the person who replied to you last granted not a perfect system but a unique one I've seen used to good effect it tends to act similar to what reddit karma is supposed to do

Maybe an alternative system?
Like one where you can give credit to someone for a helpful answer, or for solving the problem? That way you avoid the elitism, and encouraging solving problems in as helpful a manner as possible.

I got it's a problem looking for a solution, but it could be nice to see people giving good answers, as well as incentivise more people to help out, rather than just the regulars?

One I have seen from this is services in games and such, where you can give thanks to someone who has helped you, and it builds them a reputation. It has never caused elitism in my experience, but does help to identify those that are actively being helpful

Yea, doesn't have to be karma or use levels or XP even. My intention is to have that added feedback loop between Unreal Slackers members. Even the Unreal Community shows amounts of "Answers" on the user profiles and I'll use our one and only pfist as an example for this. There is no harm in this system lol

If you are hanging around for a few days you quickly recognize the people that usually help anyone and are quick to give good simple solutions anyway
