we all should. I've usually got a handle on my manic depression, and lockdown started ok as I plowed through 3 months of solid worthwhile work. But something snapped at some point. Now I'm like a yoyo, can't think straight, forget what has just been said to me and sometimes I type words I never even meant to, in replacement of others.

@fresh heath funny you should say that about subtractive BSP. I originally moved to Unreal Engine because I was sick of HoM effects from micro-gaps in the BSP. When I first used additive, my whole level design workflow for blocking out sped up and became virtually error free. So it's a trade-off really.

One of the worst things about my experience is that I haven't been bullied by anyone I haven't stood up to since I was 17 years old. I'm 44 now and have had night terrors and severe sweating through the night ever since. I was told "fight back" but they would beat me down (1 vs a group of 5+). I was told to stay out of their way, but how do you do that when they goto the same school? One time my bully beat me up and was expelled. I took several more beatings for getting him expelled by hitting his fist with my face. This is why I have a zero tolerance on bullying.

there are very few basics to learn with programming, as a whole, which extend to most other languages. Variables, loops and conditionals, functions, pointers, references and OOP. If you get them, you can pretty much transfer all your knowledge between languages. I've learned 10 different languages in my time.

The closer to your final product you can view your artwork the more informed you are on each artistic decision you make.
If you have textures apply them and see what they look like. That's how you can make the best assessment of your own work so far.

I think the key is really to do something you sort of kind of like.
