I see problems on both sides. Epic's mission to promote more open ecosystems is an honorable one, but I'm not a big fan of the methods they've used here. On the other hand: I like a lot of what Apple does and I like their products, but some of their App Store policies can be ridiculous.
Of course, none of that matters in this suit. What matters is Epic needs to prove that Apple's policies cause damage to consumers and not just developers, and that their monopoly is being maintained through the use of abusive conduct.

its to do with how Blender scales to anything. It doesn't adhere to scale in fact. Scale is a purely variable value. You force the export of it. In UE4 terms, the best setting is meters at 0.01 rather than the expected cm at 1.0
it does cause issues with physics in Blender though with that setting, so sometimes you switch it up when you need a specific task
you have it forced with that, which might not always be what you want. But you have the option to change at any point.

sometimes you import models that have different scaling though, so its good to know how to deal with it if going to UE4

when you import a mesh in UE, there is a checkbox you can select to "automatically handle the source mesh unit scaling"
that should take care of whatever scaling was used in Blender when you exported it to a FBX ๐

I'm considered putting in all raised beds and gravel paths between them. no grass, jsut a few bamboo beds and some trees other than the gardens. then just use the flamethrower to weed it every now and then

Apple, after lying in congressional hearings by stating they don't retaliate or bully; I will bet that they do not hold UE hostage and prevent retaliating against thousands of devs who have nothing to do with this, and instead exclusively punish Epic Games or lower the cut Apple receives for digital transactions for everyone. Apple is seriously tarnishing its reputation among developers and users alike by doing this. There isn't a single iphone developer or user who is cheering apple on. The only people cheering apple on are investors and Unity Technologies
